I’m Dr. Kelvin Shane and welcome to my dental office!
I’m a proud graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, where in 2014 I graduated with distinction. Prior to receiving my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, I attended the University of North Dakota (Go Sioux!), where I graduated with my Bachelor's of Science in Biology on a Presidential Scholarship. During these years, I received many awards for academic achievement and volunteered within my community. A central focus of my professional journey is learning new ways of providing the very best and most comfortable experiences for my patients.
I’m committed to providing continued excellence in dentistry. Expect to have honest conversations about your treatment and have your experiences understood. Utilizing the latest technology, we’ll discuss treatment options to keep you informed about your oral health, make recommendations, and customize a step-by-step plan to achieve the results you want.
While dentistry is my number one hobby, I also enjoy traveling, bicycling, and spending time outdoors. As a Hudson resident, I strive to build his practice as a representation of community, health, and lifelong learning.

Brittany, Office Manager
Brittany joined our team in 2018. She received her Master's in Dental Therapy from UMN (fun fact - Dr. Shane & Brittany met in dental school). Whether it's polishing up your temporary crown or answering your insurance questions, she does it all. When she's not being our dental guru, Brittany enjoys reading, gardening, and exploring Hudson.
Claim to Fame: She's the former barista to Prince.
Emmy, Assistant
Emmy joined our team in 2018 and is as OG as it gets. She graduated with her Bachelor's in Biology from UW. Although dentistry is one of her many hobbies, her true passions include long distance running and goose hunting.
Greatest Asset to Team: Her stellar dance moves.
Sydney, Administrative Assistant
Sydney joined our team in 2021. She is currently studying dental hygiene at UMN - Twin Cities. In her free time, you'll find Syd tearing up the pickleball courts, volunteering within the community, or hanging out with friends.
Favorite Summer Pastime: "Hudson has the best beaches!"
Makenna, Assistant
Makenna joined our team in 2024 with plans to become an orthodontist. She’s currently enrolled as a biochemistry major at St. Thomas. When she’s not grinding through her studies, Kenna enjoys yoga, and cheering on her sister’s softball games. Go Tigers!
Fun fact: Danced competitively for 16 years.
Tony, Assistant
Tony joined our team in 2024 with plans to become an oral surgeon. After graduating from UW - Madison with his Bachelor’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering, he’s taking a gap year while applying to dental schools. In his free time, Tony volunteers within his community.
Two Truths and a Lie: Tony is allergic to vegetables, his main food group is ground beef and he’s never had a pet.
Kennedy, Assistant
Kennedy joined our team in 2024 with plans to become a dental hygienist. She’s currently enrolled in CVTC’s dental hygiene program. When she’s not grinding through her studies, Kennedy enjoys hunting, pilates and training her new lab pup, Howie.
Fun fact: Kennedy was cast as Elle Woods in her middle school play.
Loki, Chief Barketing Officer
Loki joined our team in 2017 and has been an inspiration to both staff and patients. His favorite parts of the job are greeting patients, hourly “treat training” with staff, and napping in the office. He retired from patient care in 2025 after a year long battle with cancer.
